Job summary

CLA (CliftonLarsonAllen) is seeking a Property Tax Senior to join our State & Local Tax (SALT) practice in the United States. You will review fixed asset documents, collaborate with clients and the tax team to resolve data issues, and use Avalara for property tax renditions.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance and 2+ years of relevant experience; CPA eligibility is preferred. Compensation varies by location and includes comprehensive benefits as part of CLA's national

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
2+ years of relevant experience required.
CPA eligible preferred.
Experience in business consulting or services preferred.

Responsibilities

Review fixed asset detail documents submitted by clients for property tax renditions.
Work with client and property tax team to resolve data issues.
Receive training on Avalara software and utilize it to prepare renditions.
Collaborate with clients from multiple industries including Manufacturing, Distribution, Retail & Healthcare.
Complete tax-related research and special projects as needed.
Review property tax notices from Assessors and identify potential appeals.
Develop and train team associates and interns to support career growth.
