Job summary

SCOR Group in Chicago seeks an experienced pricing leader for U.S. Property and MGA programs. You will drive technical pricing, CAT risk assessment, and portfolio analytics while partnering with underwriting to support profitable growth.

The role includes governance, tool development, and cross-functional mentoring. You will lead market studies, parameter updates, and actual-versus-expected analyses, coordinating with CAT R&D on vendor models.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, economics, or related field.
• FCAS designation is required with 10+ years pricing and modeling experience.
• 5+ years in U.S. Property pricing and experience with cat models preferred.
• Strong communication to explain complex concepts to underwriters; proficient in Excel/SQL.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical pricing of U.S. Property treaties and MGA programs using experience- and exposure-based approaches.
• Collaborate with underwriting to communicate pricing recommendations and profitability analyses.
• Participate in MGA program audits to strengthen governance and compliance.
• Lead market studies, pricing parameter updates, and analyses; improve pricing methods and tools.
• Mentor junior actuaries and analysts; share knowledge across the team; partner with various functions.
