Job summary

SCOR, a leading global reinsurer, seeks a senior actuary to lead pricing and risk assessment for U.S. Property treaty and MGA business in Chicago. You will guide pricing methodologies, analytics, and governance while partnering with underwriting to support profitable growth.

You will mentor junior staff, collaborate across claims, reserving, finance, and underwriting, and drive automation and standardization of P&M processes in a hybrid work setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, economics, or related field.
• FCAS designation and 10+ years pricing/modeling experience, including 5+ years in U.S. Property.
• Experience with RMS or Verisk cat models preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical pricing of U.S. Property treaties and MGA programs with exposure-based methods.
• Collaborate with underwriting to communicate pricing and profitability insights.
• Support MGA program audits and strengthen governance and oversight.
• Lead market studies, pricing parameter updates, and analyses.
• Collaborate with CAT R&D on vendor model evaluation and calibration.
• Mentor junior actuaries and analysts; share best practices.
• Maintain strong cross-functional feedback with underwriting, claims, reserving, finance, and distributions.
