Job summary

SCOR is seeking a Senior Executive to lead North America Program Business Underwriting. The role drives strategy, profitability, and governance while managing a team and cross-functional partners across the organization.

Relocation assistance within the U.S. is available; hybrid work policy permits 3 days in-office and 2 days remote per week. Excellent compensation and comprehensive benefits accompany this senior leadership opportunity.

Qualifications

• College degree or equivalent work experience.
• 15+ years of progressively responsible property and casualty (re)insurance experience with program business and underwriting leadership.
• Proven ability to lead underwriting teams and drive profitable growth in complex portfolios.
• Deep knowledge of MGA/program structures, delegated authority, pricing and portfolio management.
• Executive stakeholder influence and matrix leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead North America Program Business underwriting strategy, governance, and performance.
• Own portfolio profitability, underwriting appetite, and corrective actions.
• Sponsor business cases and oversee complex referrals with senior approvals.
• Build and manage a high-performing, inclusive team and cross-functional collaboration.
• Maintain relationships with MGAs, brokers, clients, and regulators; represent SCOR at industry events.
• Ensure compliance with licensing, regulatory, ESG, and enterprise risk management requirements.
