Orion180 in the United States seeks a Senior CAT Risk & Portfolio Analyst to lead catastrophe analytics and portfolio strategies, collaborating with Underwriting, Product, Finance, and Tech teams.

You will leverage AIR, RMS, KR and internal tools to monitor risk, support pricing decisions, and drive profitable growth while strengthening catastrophe resilience. The role offers rapid, innovation-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant analytical field.
• 4+ years in P&C insurance or related analytics.
• Hands-on CAT modeling with AIR/RMS/KR preferred.
• Translate complex findings into leadership-ready recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Support portfolio management initiatives across pricing, underwriting, and CAT exposure using advanced data analytics.
• Analyze CAT portfolio performance, loss drivers, and risk indicators to support pricing strategies.
• Execute and enhance CAT modeling workflows using AIR, RMS, KR, and internal tools.
• Monitor CAT book health across states and product segments; identify trends and opportunities.
• Develop predictive and ML models for profitability, exposure trends, benchmarking, and risk segmentation.
• Collaborate with IT, Architecture, and Data Engineering to improve data pipelines and insights.
• Design data visualizations and dashboards to communicate analytics to leaders.
• Contribute to cross-functional initiatives including reinsurance, rate reviews, and portfolio optimization.
