Job summary

Colonial Group in New York seeks an experienced Property Operations Manager to support the General Manager in overseeing all aspects of a development asset. The role ensures regulatory compliance, leases, and resident relations while driving operational excellence across the site.

You will enforce site policies, manage LIHTC/Section 8 admin, payroll, rent collections, and vendor coordination, partnering with HR and leadership to optimize performance and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Preferred RAM, ARM, AHM, LIHTC and CPM certifications.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Yardi.

Responsibilities

• Assist GM in oversight of all operational aspects.
• Support regulatory compliance and occupancy management.
• Oversee LIHTC and Section 8 administration.
• Monitor payroll, PTO, and staff overtime.
• Manage rent collection and arrears; coordinate with counsel on legal issues.
• Coordinate with builders, vendors and partners on budgets and CAPEX.
• Prepare NYCHA-related reports monthly.
