Job summary

S:US is seeking a Property Manager to oversee affordable housing units in NYC, ensuring leasing and regulatory compliance across multiple properties. You will coordinate admissions, lead rent-roll processes, and maintain LIHTC records, partnering with program staff and housing agencies.

You will work closely with the Director of Housing Compliance and on-site teams to support residents, manage move-ins/outs, and ensure HQS compliance while maintaining accurate filings and occupancy data.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 3+ years in supportive or affordable housing, landlord/tenant or property management.
• Knowledge of Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) programs.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Process admissions applications for subsidized programs (HRA, HUD SP C, HASA, NYCHA).
• Coordinate unit showings and collect documentation for lease-up and compliance.
• Lead monthly rent roll generation and submission to HRA with accuracy and timeliness.
• Prepare leasing documents and LIHTC/subsidy income certifications.
• Process move-ins/move-outs per regulatory procedures.
• Maintain complete leasing, tenant, and LIHTC records and perform recertifications.
