Job summary

Newmark Group, Inc. in Chicago is seeking an experienced Property Operations Manager to lead on-site teams and optimize portfolio performance. You will oversee budgeting, lease administration, vendor contracts, and stakeholder communications to maximize value for the owner.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in business or related field, 8+ years of property operations, and applicable real estate licensing. RPA/CCIM/CPM certifications are preferred, with competitive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field is required.
• Minimum of 8 years’ experience in property operations.
• A valid real estate license is required in states where work is performed.
• RPA and CCIM or CPM certification preferred or required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in strengthening owner relationships by being proactive and responsive to owners’ needs.
• Assist senior management in defining goals and objectives for performance of assets.
• Prepare and report information in a timely fashion to staff and owners.
• Develop and implement service upgrades to exceed client expectations.
• Oversee budgeting, lease reconciliations and monthly financial reporting for properties.
• Review and approve vendor contracts, manage procurement and ensure compliance with standards.
• Provide leadership, evaluations, promotions and salary recommendations for on-site staff.
• Plan and manage portfolios to deliver projects within budget and schedule.
