Job summary

Newmark is seeking an experienced facilities management leader responsible for a portfolio of properties, directing a team, and personally managing select sites. You will guide maintenance programs, ensure safety, optimize resources, and align with corporate real estate objectives.

Strong budgeting, reporting, and vendor oversight are essential to maximize client value. The role requires 5–7 years of leadership in facilities management, a relevant bachelor's degree, and proficiency with FMIS

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, real estate related field, or 5-7 years of relative experience.
• CPM and/or RPA designation preferred credentials.
• Strong supervisory skills with at least 5-7 years of leadership/management facilities management experience in office, lab, industrial plant environments or data centers.
• Experience of an Integrated Management System.
• Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft office software; experience with ERP/FMIS systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct, communicate, and oversee maintenance programs relating to interior and exterior facilities.
• Supervise staff to ensure effective implementation of services per contract and client expectations.
• Prepare performance reviews and salary recommendations for direct reports.
• Review facility performance, provide monthly operating reports including budget variances and initiatives.
• Provide direction on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, fire life safety systems.
• Assist in long-term strategies to increase operating efficiencies and cost savings.
• Formulate and manage fiscal operating and capital budgets with client accounting.
• Oversee contract services, vendor negotiation, and monitor performance for compliance.
• Maintain tracking of active service contracts and insurance certificates.
• Ensure safety training and compliance with EH&S programs; act as escalation for incidents.
