MRK Property Management LLC is seeking a Senior Property Manager to oversee operations at Symphony Hall and Lincoln Park in Newark, NJ. The role focuses on revenue and expense control, resident relations, and staff development across two properties totaling 126 units.

The candidate will lead budgeting, capital projects, and compliance with housing programs, while maintaining superior resident satisfaction and property performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum six years in property management.
• Minimum three years of supervisory experience with budgets and personnel.
• Experience with HCV, LIHTC, and housing programs preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operations at Symphony Hall and Lincoln Park properties in Newark, NJ (126 units).
• Manage budgets and capital projects including HVAC, roofing, and parking lots.
• Ensure compliance with safety, security, maintenance, and marketing obligations.
• Coordinate lease enforcement, rent collection, and accounts receivable.
• Lead hiring, training, coaching, and performance reviews of staff.
• Prepare variance reports and maintain property records and files.
• Respond to resident inquiries and maintain positive resident relations.
• Ensure Fair Housing compliance in all interactions with residents and applicants.
• Partner with regional management to fill vacancies promptly.
