Job summary

MRK Partners is seeking a Senior Property Manager to oversee operations for two communities in the Philadelphia area, a 44-unit property in Chatham Court and a 60-unit property in Ambler. You will lead revenue and expense management, resident relations, and staff development across multiple locations.

The role requires six years in property management, strong leadership, budget control and knowledge of LIHTC/Section 8 funding sources.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Six years in property management.
• Three years supervisory experience including budgeting, accounting, compliance and interviewing.
• Experience with Public Housing, Project-based Voucher, Tax Credit and Section 8 preferred.
• Scheduling flexibility based on business needs.
• Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to travel up to 25%.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Model and instill company mission and values within all employees.
• Champion continuous improvement to enhance resident satisfaction and property performance.
• Ensure each property meets contractual and operational obligations (safety, maintenance, marketing, etc).
• Develop and administer operating and capital expense budgets.
• Forecast major capital projects (HVAC, roofing, parking lot, etc).
• Perform operational reviews and correct deficiencies at each property.
• Analyze monthly financial statements and submit variance reports.
• Maintain accurate, compliant property files at each property.
• Coordinate timely revenue collection and lease compliance.
• Manage resident relations and maintenance requests.
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing laws.
