Job summary

Renters Warehouse is seeking a Senior Property Manager in Columbia, MD to lead property management operations for the Washington, DC office and oversee licensed activity in DC and Maryland. The role reports to regional leadership and includes broker responsibilities, compliance, and hands-on leadership of a small team.

The base salary is $80,000 to $90,000 annually, with potential for additional compensation.

Qualifications

• Active DC real estate broker license required at hire; Maryland license required at hire or within 180 days.
• Experience supervising licensed real estate activity as broker, including oversight of trust/escrow accounts.
• Working knowledge of DC and MD landlord-tenant law, security deposit requirements, licensing, and fair housing law.

Responsibilities

• Lead property management in the Washington, DC office and oversee day-to-day operations for the office portfolio.
• Serve as the Company designated broker for DC and Maryland licenses, ensuring compliance and education requirements are met.
• Safeguard client funds through approved trust accounts and ensure proper handling of deposits and records.
• Ensure fair housing compliance across offices, maintaining objective screening criteria and training.
• Own leasing and occupied operations to minimize vacancies and maintain licenses/registrations.
• Directly supervise property management and leasing staff, conducting regular coaching and performance reviews.
• Support the Columbia, MD office transition to company operating model and align processes across both offices.
• Migrate offices to AppFolio and LeadSimple with central support and maintain accurate system data.
