Job summary

Renters Warehouse is seeking an Assistant Property Manager in Columbia, MD to oversee owned and leased properties and to support staff with centralized services. You will mediate between owners and tenants and help ensure smooth daily operations.

The role requires strong computer skills, customer service abilities, and experience with cloud-based management tools. Travel and licensing requirements may apply as part of lease and enforcement activities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and up to 3 years in property management.
• Leadership experience is preferred.
• Ability to operate cloud-based property management software.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Centralized Services to ensure an optimal property management experience.
• Provide customer service via phone and email to property owners.
• Coordinate communications between maintenance and local operations.
• Handle tenant placements including showings, applications and leases.
• Manage lease renewals and modifications.
• Oversee property turnovers to ensure positive experience for owner and tenant.
• Perform accounting tasks in cloud-based management software and pay bills.
• Coordinate housing assistance paperwork with local authorities.
• Attend local court appearances as RENOSY by Renters Warehouse representative.
