Job summary

CBRE in Sunnyvale, CA seeks a Senior Property Manager to lead all aspects of a mixed-use property (retail, office, and association). You will oversee marketing, operations, and financial activities, and manage the retail portion on behalf of the client.

This role requires directing property staff, coordinating tenant needs, budgeting, CAM reconciliation, and lease administration, with a focus on delivering results and maintaining high service standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 5–8 years of relevant experience.
• Real estate license if state required.
• Commercial real estate property management experience preferred.
• Ability to lead the exchange of sensitive information and convey performance expectations.
• Strong leadership to motivate teams across multiple departments.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Provide formal supervision to employees, oversee training and development, and mentor staff.
• Respond to tenant needs and ensure services comply with policies and contracts.
• Oversee property inspections, vendor contracts, and maintenance decisions.
• Market and lease the property, qualify and show space, and negotiate leases.
• Serve as primary contact with owners and deliver accurate reports.
• Develop and control annual operating and capital budgets; forecast plans.
• Collect rent and manage CAM recovery, issue legal notices, and coordinate actions.
• Support property sales by overseeing due diligence and broker activity.
• Build relationships through industry and civic involvement.
