Job summary

Lincoln Property Company is seeking a Property Manager to oversee a single asset or portfolio of commercial properties in the New Jersey area. You will coordinate marketing, operations, and financial activities to meet client objectives, while leading a team and ensuring timely reporting.

The role requires strong leadership, advanced Excel and property management system skills (Yardi/MRI), and a focus on lease administration, budgeting, and tenant relations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred with 3-5 years of related experience; combination of experience and education considered in lieu of degree.
• Real Estate License required where mandatory by local regulation; CPM or RPA professional designation or candidacy preferred.
• Intermediate to advanced skills with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel; knowledge of Yardi or MRI and Kardin preferred; AP and CMMS proficiency required.
• Experience with commercial office, retail, and industrial properties highly preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of financial terms and principles; ability to forecast outcomes, budgets with long-term capital plans, and variance reports.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to convey complex topics and lead discussions of sensitive information.
• Demonstrated leadership potential or experience; strong collaboration in a high-functioning team.
• Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary contact with property owners and serve as Owner Representative; prepare and deliver reports.
• Manage team response to tenant needs and ensure prompt resolution of issues.
• Prepare timely monthly reports and annual budgets for operating and capital expenses.
• Oversee lease administration: set up, changes, and reporting; manage contracted terms.
• Proactively collect rent and other charges; report AR status and issue notices as needed.
• Direct sourcing and procurement; provide bid analysis and vendor contract compliance.
• Lead daily and long-term team activities; schedule, train, and coach staff.
• Supervise recruiting, hiring, and staff development.
• Ensure monthly or more frequent property inspections; approve alterations and maintenance.
• Drive results through direction and performance management.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
