Job summary

Avesta Housing seeks a Senior Property Manager in Maine to lead a portfolio of affordable housing, oversee daily operations, and ensure the financial and physical health of properties.

You will mentor staff, manage budgets, ensure regulatory compliance, and collaborate across departments to deliver excellent service. This on-site role requires travel between properties in the Inland region.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years’ experience in managing affordable multi-family housing (LIHTC, HUD, Rural Development or similar).
• College degree preferred.
• Ability to travel.
• Proficient in use of Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team and oversee daily operations across a portfolio of properties.
• Mentor staff, manage budgets, and ensure financial health of properties.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and reporting across programs.
