Job description

Manage a multi-building retail portfolio in University City and lead the onsite team. Serve as the primary point of contact for the client and third-party relationships.

Job Description
  • ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Direct, coordinate, and oversee property management operations.

Provide exceptional service to tenants and customers.

Develop and interpret policies and strategies for property management, ensuring effective information flow and leadership.

Lead onsite staff with clear direction and oversight.

  • Monitor budget variances and facilitate recovery processes.
  • Oversee billing processes, including invoice payments and fund disbursements.
  • Prepare reports, annual budgets, and other documentation for owners as per management agreements.
  • Maintain communication with third-party owners, ensuring contract compliance and timely reporting.
  • Resolve tenant issues to maintain satisfaction.
  • Conduct regular property inspections.
  • Manage construction projects with the Construction Manager, including contract and invoice approvals.
  • Ensure compliance with policies, codes, regulations, and governmental directives.
  • KEY COMPETENCIES

    Excellent communication skills, proactive approach, customer focus, problem-solving, leadership, teamwork, time management, and financial acumen.

    EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

    Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field preferred.

    At least 5 years of experience in real estate property management or related fields.

    ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

    CPM, RPA, or CSM designation preferred.

    Strong financial and operational knowledge of buildings.

    Proven leadership and team management skills.

    Experience in lease and contract negotiations.

    Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

    WORK ENVIRONMENT

    Professional office setting with travel between properties in varying weather conditions.

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS

    Travel, climbing stairs, outdoor conditions, and prolonged stationary periods required.
