Greystar's The Waymark property in Seattle seeks a Senior Maintenance Technician to maintain buildings, grounds, and amenities, ensuring safety, cleanliness, and functionality. You will handle resident service requests, perform repairs, and oversee the make-ready process for new move-ins.

The role requires knowledge of hand/power tools, mechanical equipment, and basic plumbing; experience in painting and carpentry is valued. A strong team player with solid communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Knowledgeable in safe use and maintenance of hand tools, power tools, and mechanical equipment.
• Experience with painting, entry level carpentry, appliance repair, and basic plumbing.
• High level of professionalism in manner and dress.
• Excellent communication skills: read, write, and communicate effectively.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders from resident requests and preventative maintenance.
• Completes the make-ready process to prepare vacant apartments for leasing and move-ins.
• Accesses materials and equipment from the maintenance department and tracks inventory.
• Documents work orders accurately for recording and tracking.
• Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities; performs cleaning and painting as needed.
• Supports cost-cutting by fixing parts rather than replacing.
