Job summary

ResProp Management is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee service operations, manage work orders, and mentor maintenance staff at our Austin properties. The role requires EPA Universal certification, 3 years of apartment-industry experience, and strong leadership skills.

You will ensure safety, schedule vendor work, and drive timely unit turns. Applicants should have a tool kit, reliable transportation, and reside within 30 minutes of the property.

Qualifications

• General maintenance and repair experience.
• Management experience.
• EPA Universal certification required.
• CPO certification highly preferred.
• Trade skills across buildings (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, drywall, framing, painting, roofing, cabinetry, pools, appliances).
• Trade licensing preferred but not required.
• Proficiency with computers and basic software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all service operations to meet goals.
• Manage work orders and conduct inspections for apartments.
• Provide excellent resident service and train maintenance staff.
• Assist in recruiting and interviewing maintenance team members.
• Organize maintenance shop and property appearance.
• Evaluate products for maintenance and upkeep.
• Schedule and supervise in-house and vendor work.
• Ensure safety and OSHA compliance.
• Oversee unit turns and renovations within deadlines.
• Walk apartments with leasing team to assess move-out damage.
