Job summary

EMBREY in Austin, TX seeks a Maintenance Supervisor to lead a property maintenance team near Downtown. You’ll improve reliability, manage budgets, and boost resident satisfaction by keeping units and common areas well maintained.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, coordinating work orders, inspecting HVAC systems, and negotiating vendor contracts while ensuring safety and compliance. A strong property maintenance background and a valid driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Property Maintenance
• Three years’ experience as a Manager/Supervisor
• HVAC certified
• Pool certification preferred
• High school diploma or equivalent, preferred
• Valid Driver’s License

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance within the maintenance team.
• Improve processes and increase workflow efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and implement cost-saving repairs.
• Lead and retain a quality maintenance team.
• Review and allocate work orders weekly.
• Manage monthly and yearly budget overages.
• Coordinate scheduling, vendor contracts, and inspections to keep the property well-maintained.
• Oversee HVAC inspections and major repairs as needed.
• Close out work orders promptly.
• Educate team through EMBREY University and vendor trainings.
