Job summary

MAA is seeking an Apartment Maintenance Supervisor in the Austin area to lead and motivate the maintenance team across a multifamily community. You will ensure all units and facilities are well-maintained, respond quickly to service requests, and drive property appearance to meet standards.

Ideal candidates will have HVAC experience, EPA license, and 3–5 years in property management or maintenance, plus supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with 3–5 years in multifamily maintenance or property management.
• HVAC experience is required and EPA Type II or Universal license is needed.
• License for Florida CAMT if applicable; valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the maintenance team to repair and maintain property facilities and units.
• Respond promptly and courteously to service requests from residents.
• Ensure market-ready apartments to meet leasing demand and uphold standards.
• Assist with hiring, training, and development of maintenance staff.
