Job summary

CBRE Senior Property Condition Assessor responsibilities include preparing complex Property Condition Reports and noting deficiencies observed by a professional in architecture, engineering, or construction management.

You will conduct walk-through surveys of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, structures and interiors; interview owners and occupants; review repair costs and reports; collect photographs of property systems; and prepare estimated costs for large repairs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Engineering or Construction Management preferred with 2-5 years of relevant experience; in lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
• Certification as either a Professional Engineer or Registered Architect preferred.
• Understanding of existing procedures and standards to solve slightly complex problems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct walk-through surveys to assess the condition of the property across systems and structures.
• Interview property owners, occupants, and other key members to collect information.
• Review repair costs, occupancy, maintenance, and inspection reports.
• Collect photographs of property systems and their condition for observation.
• Prepare estimated costs for large repairs and improvements.
