Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Senior Property Condition Assessor to prepare complex Property Condition Reports and document deficiencies observed by qualified professionals in architecture, engineering, or construction management.

You will conduct walk-through surveys across mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, structures, interiors and exteriors; interview owners or occupants to collect information; and review repair costs, occupancy, maintenance, and inspection reports.

• Review repair costs, occupancy, maintenance, and inspection reports.
• Collect photographs of property systems and their condition for observation.
• Prepare estimated costs for large repairs and improvements.
• Act as an authority for specialties needed.
• Apply general knowledge of standard principles and techniques to accomplish tasks.
• Lead by example and model behaviors consistent with CBRE RISE values.
• Impact the quality of own work and the work of others on the team.
• Explain complex information to others in straightforward situations.

About The Role:

As a CBRE Senior Property Condition Assessor, you will prepare complex Property Condition Reports and note deficiencies observed by a professional in architecture, engineering, or construction management.

What You'll Do:

• Conduct walk-through surveys to assess the condition of the property. Areas include mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, structure and foundations, interiors and exteriors; etc.
• This job is part of the Valuation function. They are responsible for inspecting and determining the values of land, property, and businesses.
• Interview property owners, occupants, and other key members to collect information.
• Review repair costs, occupancy, maintenance, and inspection reports.
• Collect photographs of property systems and their condition for observation.
• Prepare estimated costs for large repairs and improvements.
• Act as an authority for specialties needed.
• Apply general knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish tasks and solve routine problems.
• Possess a wide understanding of own job field and some understanding of several job fields within the function.
• Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. May convince to reach an agreement.
• Impact the quality of own work and the work of others on the team.
