Job summary

CBRE seeks a Senior Property Condition Assessor to prepare complex Property Condition Reports and note deficiencies observed by a professional in architecture, engineering, or construction management.

Responsibilities include conducting walk-through surveys, interviewing owners and occupants, reviewing repair costs and inspection reports, collecting photographs, and estimating large repair costs while applying standard principles to solve routine problems.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering or Construction Management preferred.
  • 2–5 years of relevant experience; combination of experience and education will be considered.
  • Professional Engineer or Registered Architect certification preferred.
  • Strong analytical and math skills; proficient with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct walk-through surveys to assess the property's condition.
  • Interview property owners, occupants and key members to collect information.
  • Review repair costs, occupancy, maintenance and inspection reports.
  • Collect photographs of property systems and their condition.
  • Prepare estimated costs for large repairs and improvements.
  • Explain complex information to others in straightforward situations.
