Great American Insurance Group is seeking a Senior Property Claims Representative who will manage a broad range of commercial property claims. The role requires on-site presence four days a week with one day remote, and involves reviewing coverage, gathering information, and developing resolution strategies for complex cases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience handling commercial property claims.
• Strong skills in customer service, computers, verbal and written communications, time management, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Investigates and maintains property claims including those medium to significant in exposure or complexity.
• Reviews coverage and drafts Reservations of Rights and coverage disclaimers.
• Secures and analyzes information for investigation of claims.
• Develops and implements resolution strategies in more complex cases.
• Drives and supports effective investigation strategies on first party and subrogation matters.
• Attends arbitrations, mediations, depositions or trials as necessary.
• Establishes reserves and negotiates settlements within prescribed limits.
• Conveys complex information to stakeholders with professional demeanor.
• Ensures timely and accurate claim payments and compliance with laws and company policies.
• Mentors less experienced adjusters and participates in projects as needed.
