Job summary

Polikov Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Claims Specialist for a client in the A+ rated specialty insurance carrier space. The role involves handling complex, high-value E&S Commercial Property claims nationwide and driving files toward resolution.

The ideal candidate will independently evaluate exposures, develop claim strategies and manage external partners while leveraging a deep understanding of coverage, reserving and settlement authority.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Commercial Property Claims experience including complex/high-value losses.
• Strong understanding of coverage, reserving, exposure assessment and claim resolution.
• Experience coordinating with outside adjusters, experts and counsel.
• Active Adjuster’s License is required.

Responsibilities

• Independently manage complex and high-value Commercial Property claims nationwide.
• Analyze coverage, damages, liability and overall claim exposure.
• Establish reserves and evaluate claims within authority.
• Develop and execute strategies for timely resolutions.
• Manage outside adjusters, experts, counsel and other claim-related vendors.
• Provide reporting on significant claims to leadership and senior management.
• Keep reinsurers informed of significant developments and exposure changes.
• Participate in mediations, trials and settlement conferences.
• Represent the company at meetings and industry events
