Polikov Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Claims Specialist for a client in the A+ rated specialty insurance carrier space. The role involves handling complex, high-value E&S Commercial Property claims nationwide and driving files toward resolution.

The ideal candidate will independently evaluate exposures, develop claim strategies and manage external partners while leveraging a deep understanding of coverage, reserving and settlement authority.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Commercial Property Claims experience including complex/high-value losses.
• Strong understanding of coverage, reserving, exposure assessment and claim resolution.
• Experience coordinating with outside adjusters, experts and counsel.
• Active Adjuster’s License is required.

Responsibilities

Position Summary

We are recruiting for a Claims Specialist to handle some of the company’s most complex, high-value E&S Commercial Property claims nationwide.

This is a highly visible role for an experienced Property Claims professional who enjoys complex coverage issues, large-loss exposures and sophisticated claim resolution. The Claims Specialist will independently evaluate exposures, develop claim strategies and drive files toward resolution within assigned authority.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently manage complex and high-value Commercial Property claims
• Analyze coverage, damages, liability and overall claim exposure
• Establish appropriate reserves and evaluate claims within assigned settlement authority
• Develop and execute strategies to drive claims toward timely and effective resolution
• Manage outside adjusters, experts, counsel and other claim-related vendors
• Provide clear and concise reporting on significant claims to Claims Leadership and Senior Management
• Keep reinsurers informed of significant developments and changes in exposure
• Participate in mediations, trials, settlement conferences and other claim-related proceedings
• Represent the company at meetings, industry events and other business functions

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Commercial Property Claims experience
• Experience handling complex and/or high-severity Property losses
• Strong understanding of coverage, reserving, exposure evaluation and claim resolution
• Experience working with outside adjusters, experts and counsel
• Must possess and maintain an Adjuster’s License
