Qualifications

• Minimum five years of claim handling and/or other insurance-related experience.
• Strong knowledge of policy language and claim practices.
• Ability to obtain and maintain state adjusting license requirements.

Responsibilities

• Handle moderate value commercial property claims with thorough investigations.
• Gather information, determine coverage, and document handling activities.
• Initiate and maintain customer contact to provide updates and resolve issues.
• Set reserves and make payments within authorized authority.
• Refer above-authority claims to management for review or reassignment.
• Coordinate with vendors and Loss Recovery Services as needed.
