Qualifications

• 2–4 years of claim handling and/or insurance experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience considered.
• Ability to obtain and maintain state adjusting license requirements; continuing education is expected.

Responsibilities

• Handle low-to-moderate value commercial property claims with shorter durations and lower indemnity.
• Gather and review claim information, determine coverage, and conduct thorough investigations.
• Initiate and maintain contact with customers to provide updates and resolve issues.
• Determine reserves and make payments within your authority; refer above-authority claims as needed.
• Communicate professionally with internal and external customers and partners.
• Coordinate with vendors or Loss Recovery Services when appropriate.
