Mutual of Enumclaw seeks a Sr. Property Claims Manager to lead our Property Claims function across Personal, Commercial, and Farm lines. You will guide supervisors and adjusters, set standards, and ensure responsive, knowledgeable service during customers' hardest days.

You will lead with urgency and empathy, overseeing complex claims, managing budgets, and driving process improvements. Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and regulatory knowledge are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of insurance experience with an emphasis on property, commercial, and farm claims.
• 5+ years of management experience preferred.
• Industry designation(s) such as CPCU, AIC, or SCLA strongly preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and claims software, including Xactimate and XactAnalysis.
• Advanced knowledge of personal, commercial, and farm policies, construction and building practices, and the regulatory and legal landscape.
• Advanced skills in business analytics, root cause analysis, complex coverage assessment, reserving, and litigation management.

Responsabilités

• Lead and develop Property Claims Supervisors and their teams, including hiring and coaching.
• Oversee daily operations for complex multi-line commercial, farm, and coverage claims.
• Hit business unit targets and manage the department expense budget.
• Set file quality and compliance standards that meet company and regulatory requirements.
• Guide teams through sensitive and escalated situations with urgency and empathy.
• Grant settlement, reserve, and expense authority, and adjust authority levels.
• Spot trends and build risk-mitigation processes.
• Collaborate with adjusters, experts, and regulators.
• Drive process improvements, quality assurance, and training programs.
