Job summary

Starr Insurance, a global leader in commercial insurance, is seeking a Senior General Adjuster in the United States (Arizona). You will manage the Property claims process with a focus on coverage evaluation and coordination with insureds and other carriers.

The role requires knowledge of Property policy and Business Interruption coverage, strong writing and communication skills, and travel to loss sites with about 10% travel. A minimum of 5 years in Property claims is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of Property claims handling experience.
• Knowledge of Property policy and Business Interruption coverage.
• Strong communication and writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage all claims administration functions in the claims system.
• Coordinate with independent adjusters by providing direction on coverage and claim measurement.
• Evaluate policy coverage and communicate with insureds; work with other insurers participating on the risk.
• Work with underwriters on policy coverage and assist with policy wordings.
• Travel to loss sites and meetings with insureds and market members; travel ~10%.
• Maintain thorough documentation and file quality for Property claims.
