Job summary

Starr Insurance is seeking a Senior General Adjuster to manage the Property claims process, with emphasis on knowledge of Property policy and Business Interruption coverage. The role involves travel to loss sites and meetings with insureds and market members, approximately 10% of the time, and requires a minimum of five years' experience in handling Property claims.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Property policy and Business Interruption coverage.
• Experience guiding adjusters on coverage and claim measurement.
• Strong communication and writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage all claims administration functions in the claims system.
• Coordinate with independent adjusters on coverage and claim measurement.
• Evaluate policy coverage and communicate with insureds and participating carriers.
• Work with underwriters on policy coverage and wording.
• Travel to loss sites and meetings with insureds and market members, approx. 10% travel.
• Maintain a minimum of 5 years' experience handling Property claims.
