Starr Insurance seeks a Senior General Adjuster to manage the claims process for Property losses, with focus on coverage evaluation and policy interpretation. This role involves coordinating with independent adjusters and underwriters, and traveling to loss sites as needed.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in Property claims, strong communication and writing skills, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience handling Property claims.
• Ability to evaluate policy coverage and communicate with insureds.
• Experience coordinating with independent adjusters and underwriters.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% to loss sites and meetings.
• Knowledge of Property policy and Business Interruption coverage.

Responsabilités

• Manage all claims administration functions in the claims system.
• Handle files with independent adjusters by providing direction on coverage and measurement of the claim.
• Evaluate policy coverage and communicate with insureds and other insurers.
• Work with Underwriters on policy coverage and assist on policy wordings.
• Travel to loss sites and meetings with insureds and market members (~10% travel).
• 5+ years experience in handling Property claims.
