Job summary

Stillwater Insurance Group is seeking a Property Claim Adjuster for Omaha, NE or Jacksonville, FL. This in-office role requires handling homeowner, dwelling, condo, renter, and commercial property claims across all 50 states with emphasis on accuracy, claims integrity, and strong customer service.

The position calls for 5+ years of property claim experience, knowledge of policy language, and proficiency with Xactimate and MS Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of property claim experience as an adjuster with an insurer.
• Strong knowledge of property and casualty policies and claims handling.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and analyze property claims to determine coverage, liability, and damages.
• Interpret policy language accurately while protecting company rights.
• Prepare correspondence including reservation of rights and coverage letters.
• Communicate clearly with insureds, agents, contractors, attorneys, and internal stakeholders.
• Create and audit property damage estimates using Xactimate; refine estimating proficiency.
