Job summary

CRC Group is seeking a Senior Claim Specialist in the United States (Texas) to investigate, evaluate, and resolve moderately complex property and casualty claims. The role requires handling a portfolio from intake to resolution, conducting investigations, reviewing coverage, and ensuring regulatory compliance while delivering strong customer service.

The position prefers a Bachelor's degree in Business, Insurance, Risk Management, or related field, with 5-7 years of claims experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Business, Insurance, Risk Management, or a related field.
• 5-7 years of relevant claims handling experience in property and casualty.
• Experience with claims management systems and standard office software.
• Appropriate state adjuster license or ability to obtain within a specified timeframe.
• Industry certifications such as AIC or CPCU are preferred but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough investigations including gathering statements, reviewing policy coverage, and analyzing relevant documentation.
• Evaluate exposure and potential liability based on policy language and facts.
• Maintain accurate documentation, claim notes, and reports in compliance with internal standards.
• Collaborate with internal teams, legal counsel, and external vendors as necessary.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, internal policies, and service-level agreements.
• Handle a portfolio of moderately complex property and casualty claims from intake to resolution.
