Kidder Mathews is seeking a Senior Property Accountant to support the Asset Services Team in Bellevue, WA. You will ensure accurate financial reporting, oversee journal entries, reconciliations, budgets, and ad hoc reports, and provide leadership to the accounting team to uphold standardized practices.

The role emphasizes high-quality financial analysis and timely monthly closes in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with property managers and internal partners.

Qualifications

• 8+ years accounting experience with 4+ years in the property management industry.
• Proficiency with property management accounting systems (Yardi, Skyline, MRI, etc.).
• BA/BS in Accounting or equivalent education/experience.
• Strong MS Office skills and professional communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage integrity of tenant data in the property management system.
• Prepare timely and accurate financial reports to clients (reconciliations, forecasts, budgets).
• Collaborate with Property Accountants to ensure journal entries and GL accuracy.
• Prepare accruals for Property Managers ahead of Owner Report due dates.
• Support periodic reforecasts with the Property Accountant.
• Review cash activity including bank reconciliations and cash management.
