Kidder Mathews LLC seeks a Property Accountant to support the Asset Services Team in delivering accurate financial reporting for a diverse portfolio in Seattle. The role emphasizes general ledger integrity, month-end close, and timely client-ready statements, working closely with property managers and internal partners.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of accounting experience, strong knowledge of property management processes, and proficiency with Yardi, Skyline, MRI, and MS Office.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Accounting or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of accounting experience with 2+ years in property management.
• Proficiency with Skyline, MRI, Yardi, and MS Office.
• Strong communication, organization, and analytical skills.
• Willingness to work outside normal hours to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Maintain integrity of tenant data in property management accounting system and ensure accuracy of journal entries.
• Prepare month-end close, reconciliations, and client-ready financial reports.
• Assist with CAM reconciliations and estimates with Property Team.
• Manage accounts payable, vendor payments, and cash management activities.
• Support accounts receivable processes, including aging reviews and collections.
