Job summary

Realvest Asset Management, LLC in Vancouver, WA is seeking a Senior Property Accountant to own full-cycle accounting for a portfolio of residential and commercial properties as well as small corporate entities. The role involves cash management, RUBS billing, property tax reviews, and close coordination with PMs and Asset Managers.

You will prepare monthly statements, journal entries, reconciliations, and year-end closes, while ensuring GAAP compliance and accurate intercompany accounting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Four or more years of hands-on, full-cycle accounting experience in property management, real estate, or multi-entity accounting.
• Experience with GAAP and accrual accounting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post monthly property financial statements, journal entries, accruals, and reclassifications.
• Reconcile property balance sheet, bank, and resident security deposits.
• Maintain property-level fixed asset, depreciation, accrual, and prepaid expense schedules.
• Record property intercompany activity and prepare audit schedules.
• Support month-end and year-end close and provide owner reporting.
• Coordinate RUBS billing and review revenue-related activity for accuracy.
