Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field required.
• 3–5 years of accounting and financial statement preparation experience required.
• Property Accounting experience preferred.
• Solid understanding of GAAP and accuracy with high-volume data.
• Intermediate Excel skills; knowledge of Yardi is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review work by property accountants for accuracy and completeness.
• Manage large transaction volume and ensure month-end close deadlines.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and bank reconciliations.
• Collaborate with Accounting Managers on workload and cross-training.
• Analyze financial reports and understand impact of the single-family rental business.
• Mentor staff and support cross-functional business units.
• Assist with audits and internal controls as needed.
• Provide recurring and ad hoc analysis on financial results and trends.
