Invitation Homes, a leading public REIT, seeks a Senior Accountant for our Property Accounting team. You’ll maintain the general ledger, work with teams to understand business unit impacts on financial statements, and ensure timely delivery of financial reports for partners and shareholders.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, able to prioritize in a fast-paced environment, and eager to learn multiple facets of the single-family rental business. Public company experience is a plus.

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field required.
• 3–5 years of accounting experience and financial statement preparation.
• Solid GAAP knowledge and high accuracy with strong time-management.
• Excel proficiency and ability to handle high volumes of data.
• Yardi experience is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Review work by property accountants for accuracy and completeness.
• Ensure month-end close deadlines are met and reconcile balances.
• Collaborate with Accounting Managers on workload and cross-training.
• Review Balance Sheet and Income Statement for accuracy.
• Understand financial reports and impact of single-family rental business.
• Mentor and develop staff.
• Interact with field teams and external partners for financial review.
• Prepare and review recurring and ad hoc analyses.
