CRMG is seeking an experienced Senior Affordable Accountant to oversee critical accounting functions, including financial reporting, general ledger management, month-end close, budgeting support, affordable audits, and internal controls for a property portfolio in Tigard, OR. The ideal candidate will have strong Yardi experience and be proficient in Microsoft 365.

This role offers full-time hours, competitive hourly pay, and benefits eligibility after 30 days.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required.
• Minimum five (5) years of Yardi Property Management software experience preferred.
• Previous accounting for affordable housing or subsidies experience is required.
• Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft 365 programs (Excel, Word, Outlook, TEAMS).
• Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and prioritize tasks using strong organizational skills.

Responsabilités

• Oversee month-end closing for all property accounts ensuring tasks are completed accurately and on time.
• Develop and maintain SOPs for accounting processes and ensure compliance with policies and standards.
• Establish and publish the monthly AP check run schedule.
• Create and publish weekly agenda for accounting department meetings.
• Set up appropriate access for accountants at banks used for the property portfolio.
• Participate in recruiting, supervising, reviewing, training, disciplining, and terminating staff.
