RPM Living is hiring a Senior Property Accountant to support accounting and financial reporting for a portfolio of properties. The role covers financial reporting, cash management, and the general ledger, with a hybrid work arrangement four days a week in one of our offices.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, 2+ years of property management experience, and proficiency in Yardi, MRI, RealPage/OnSite, and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of property management experience preferred.
• Experience with Yardi, MRI, RealPage/Onesite recommended.
• Microsoft Office proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly financial information in accordance with deadlines and internal controls.
• Prepare financials for multiple clients with different reporting requirements.
• Communicate with clients and property management with excellent service.
• Record journal entries and accruals, reconcile income and prepaid rent.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts monthly and perform bank reconciliations.
• Manage cash disbursements and inter-company collections; maintain daily cash balance.
• Mentor staff and participate in policy development.
