Base pay range

$100,000.00/yr - $120,000.00/yr

Coda Search is partnering with a commercial real estate company with offices located in New Jersey. This is a highly reputable firm that owns and operates a variety of commercial assets including office buildings, retail spaces, and shopping centers. The team is seeking to hire a Senior Property Accountant who will be responsible for overseeing their own portfolio of commercial properties, preparing the monthly/quarterly financial statements, CAM reconciliations, budgets, forecasts, and leading the annual audit. The Senior Property Accountant will work closely with asset managers and leasing specialists, overseeing all aspects of the property from start to finish.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare the monthly/quarterly financial statements
• Lead the month-end close overseeing the balance sheet/P&L reconciliations and monthly accruals
• Manage the GL and prepare any adjusting entries
• Review cash applications for approval
• Prepare the CAM reconciliations
• Prepare budgets/forecasts for each entity
• Oversee the annual audit

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or Business
• 4+ years of real estate/construction experience
• Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPs/Pivots)
• Prior experience with CAM reconciliations
