Job summary

Cherry Bekaert Recruiting is seeking a Senior Accountant / Property Accountant to support the accounting operations for a portfolio of commercial real estate properties. You will maintain the general ledger, manage month-end close, perform bank reconciliations, and oversee cash management to ensure accurate financial reporting.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of accounting experience, strong general ledger and month-end close skills, and familiarity with MRI and Yardi in a real estate setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3+ years of accounting experience.
• Strong general ledger accounting and month-end close knowledge.
• Experience with bank reconciliations and cash management.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Experience in real estate or property management industry a plus.

Responsibilities
