Job summary

Ethos is seeking senior proofreaders to train their language model on professional documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks. You will review, proofread, and quality-check materials before executive or client delivery, ensuring accuracy, formatting, and consistency across Word, Excel, and PowerPoint or their Google equivalents.

The role is fully remote with flexible hours (5-20 hours per week, or more). Start date ASAP. Compensation is $70/hour.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a QA, editorial, or production role reviewing business documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks for accuracy, formatting, and consistency before external delivery
• Expert-level document, spreadsheet, and slide craftsmanship with strong communication and attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Review and refine board-ready slide decks for executive delivery
• Audit financial models and spreadsheet formulas for accuracy
• Proof read executive memos and client proposals
• Check brand and template compliance across documents
• Ensure cross-document consistency across Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (or Google Docs/Sheets/Slides)
