Job summary

Ethos seeks experienced sub-editors to help train a language model on professional documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks. This fully remote role offers flexible hours (5–20 per week) and compensation of $70/hour, starting ASAP.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in QA, editorial, or production roles reviewing business materials for accuracy and consistency. You will polish Word/Excel/PowerPoint or Google Docs equivalents with keen attention to detail.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a QA, editorial, or production role reviewing business documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks for accuracy, formatting, and consistency before external delivery.
• Sharp eye for formula errors, broken links, mismatched figures, and formatting drift across Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (or Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides) deliverables.
• Expert-level document, spreadsheet, and slide craftsmanship, with excellent written communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Review business documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks for accuracy, formatting, and consistency before external delivery.
• Identify formula errors, broken links, mismatched figures, and formatting drift across Word, Excel, and PowerPoint (or Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides).
• Ensure high-quality craftsmanship of documents with clear and precise written communication.
