This role will transform raw field data, survey notes, and legal descriptions into precise drawings, maps, and official survey plats using AutoCAD Civil 3D, supporting residential, commercial, and public projects.

Qualifications

• Experience of transforming field data into survey drawings and plats.
• Proficient in reading legal descriptions and deeds.
• Strong QA/QC and adherence to drafting standards.

Responsibilities

• Draft Survey Deliverables: Boundary, Topographic, ALTA/NSPS Surveys, Subdivision Plats, As-Built Surveys, Easement/Right-of-Way exhibits.
• Process Field Data: Import and manage CSV, GPS data; create DTMs and contours in CAD.
• Conduct Record Research: Review public land records to establish property lines.
• Read & Interpret Legal Descriptions: Review and write metes-and-bounds descriptions for land actions.
• Quality Control & Revisions: Update drawings per QA/QC and municipal feedback.
• Collaborate Internally: Coordinate with field crews, project engineers, and surveyors.
• Maintain Data Integrity: Archive and organize digital files and project folders.
