Job summary

The role involves boundary, topographic, ALTA/NSPS surveys, and coordination with engineers and field crews.

You will process field data, develop DTMs and contours, prepare legal descriptions and deeds, review drawings for QA/QC, and manage project documentation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of land survey drafting experience within a surveying or civil engineering environment.
• Advanced proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Strong understanding of land surveying principles, boundary analysis, and civil infrastructure.
• Ability to interpret engineering plans, legal descriptions, deeds, and field sketches.
• High attention to detail and strong technical drafting skills.
• Excellent communication and project coordination abilities.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surveydeliverables including: Boundary Surveys, Topographic Surveys, ALTA/NSPS Land Title Surveys, Subdivision Plats, As-Built Surveys, Easement and Right-of-Way Exhibits.
• Process and manage electronic field data, GPS coordinates, and survey files within CAD platforms.
• Develop and maintain digital terrain models (DTMs), surfaces, and contour mapping.
• Conduct deed, title, plat, and right-of-way research to establish property boundaries.
• Interpret and prepare legal descriptions, including metes-and-bounds documentation.
• Perform drawing revisions and QA/QC reviews to ensure compliance with applicable standards.
• Coordinate with survey field crews, engineers, and project teams to meet project deadlines.
• Manage project documentation, CAD files, and survey records.
