Job summary

Galloway & Company Inc. is seeking a Survey Project Manager to lead land surveying efforts, spanning field crews and office teams. Expertise in boundary, topographic, and construction staking is essential, with strong attention to accuracy and project coordination.

You will guide proposals, client communications, and business development while mentoring junior staff and ensuring design intent aligns with field conditions. A current driver’s license and travel readiness are needed.

Qualifications

• A PLS license or the ability to obtain one in a year (required).
• A minimum of a high school diploma or technical school education in surveying technology—or equivalent experience.
• At least 2-5 years of experience in survey project management or leadership.

Responsibilities

• Manage project schedules and budgets while coordinating field crews and office teams.
• Prepare and review surveys, staking, and construction layouts ensuring accuracy.
• Prepare and deliver proposals and determine required survey type (boundary, topographic, construction staking).
• Mentor junior staff, train teams, and participate in hiring and staff development.
• Coordinate with clients and external stakeholders to ensure quality and growth.
