Job summary

Murray Logan Construction is seeking a Project Superintendent - Heavy Civil Marine to lead the planning, coordination, and execution of marine and heavy civil projects on site. The role focuses on safe, on-time, on-budget delivery in compliance with contract documents and regulations.

The incumbent will oversee field operations, coordinate subcontractors and equipment, and manage site logistics with a strong emphasis on quality and safety.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7-10 years of heavy civil construction experience.
• At least 3-5 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong understanding of pile driving, marine foundations, concrete construction, bridge work, and waterfront structures.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, contracts, and schedules.
• Working knowledge of OSHA regulations, and environmental compliance standards.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple crews and subcontractors in a dynamic construction environment.
• Extensive knowledge of marine construction equipment and methodologies.
• Ability to identify and mitigate jobsite risks.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work effectively with clients, engineers, inspectors, and regulatory agencies.
• Excellent planning, scheduling, and cost-control capabilities.
• Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
• First Aid/CPR Certification preferred.
• Valid Driver's License required.
• Competent Person Training preferred.

Responsibilities
